THE BOOK WILL BE ONLY ON SPINNING REELS OF ABU AND WILL BE WRITTED IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE.

THE BOOK WILL CONTAINS ALL THE ABU PRODUCTION FROM LATE 1950 TO 1983 ( END DATE OF SWEDISH PRODUCTION ) WILL BE SOFT COVERED WITH A VERY DURABLE COVER AND WITH COLORED PICTURES WILL SHOW ALL THE DETAILS ABOUT MODELS , MANUFACTURED YEARS , FACTORY MANUFACTURED NAMES, PROTOTYPES,COLOR VARIATIONS ,AND SO ON

The birth of this book started years ago during the presentation of REELSTOWN

Everything in manufacturing changes during production years , pictures of prototypes are preserved till today are finally shown to collectors, including the various ABU badge engineered models manufactured for other brands , and US

version markets , Zebco models , salesman samples, test-colors.

Fully explained history of ABU spinning reels for the first model to the last one, will

be found in these pages.

More than 200 different reels will be discussed and shown with their boxes , original parts on each model , pictures of original patents and who has designed the reel or the part in particular order starting since the Swiss Record reel Company was the first producer , Sportex productions , Zangi in Italy and then

ABU themself producers of spinning reels since 1955.

In short : 35 years of history after a successful birth in 1887 as watch factory in Sweden with about 360 pages and more than 700 images.This is a book for the serious collector , and why not for the beginning collector too. Here you will find so much information amassed to help with one's study of the ABU spinning reel.
