This is the first model of ABU reel named "CARDINAL" 1965

It was product only in version 66 , same size of zebco 6 , Extremely rare, sold in north europe only . different bail arm and bail nut than latest models, also has spool arbor , cork made another important difference was nameplate , in this version has been placed on another place ( not on housing plate ) but on a side of the body, different than all other models

This is probably the " Mother " of Cardinal reels .......
